Slide the kayak onto the roof rack with the cockpit facing upside down toward the roof of your car and center the cockpit of the kayak between the two bars of your car.

You may need to try it in different positions to find the best way for your kayak to sit on the car. Throw the straps over the kayak and secure the straps. Strap the first kayak down to the roof rack. Once you ve loaded the boat just lift the kayak or sup and the roof rack will retract with it.
